American Friends of the Magpie Medical Center invites you to join its exclusive mission in Israel and embark on the journey of a lifetime.

MANHATTAN, New York, USA, May 30, 2022 / — Israel is a land of incredible natural beauty, world-class culture and rich history. With awe-inspiring landscapes, countless cultural flavors and iconic landmarks, Israel is a world-class tourist destination. As Israel welcomes visitors again after two years of COVID-related restrictions, Friends of the Magpie American Medical Center invites you to join its exclusive mission to Israel from July 7-14, 2022 for the journey of a lifetime.

Participants will delve deeply into the culture, history, and innovation that make up the essence of Israel on this exciting, action-packed seven-day trip. The trip explores Israel from north to south, starting in Jerusalem with a visit to the Western Wall, the hidden gems of the Old City, and immersing yourself in the various communities that understand Israel today. We will enjoy the atmosphere of Jaffa and Tel Aviv, the beautiful beaches and exciting nightlife of Israel and much more with many special guests and dignitaries. In the Negev, participants will get a unique look at the Ethiopian community and the local Bedouin village, as well as experience Israeli startup culture with a focus on health and sustainability. In the heart of the Negev is the Soroka Medical Center, Israel’s leading medical facility, providing care to more than a million people from all walks of life.

Travel with Soroca’s Star of David Story creator, filmmaker and artist-in-residence Mark Bennett. Members of the AFSMC mission will attend a special opening ceremony in Soroca, celebrating Israel’s newest cultural landmark, on Sunday, July 10. This monumental art installation celebrating the impact of art and healing will be featured in the healing gardens of the Heritage Cancer Center and the Dr. Larry Norton Institute.
