Representatives from Visit Derry traveled to the Big Apple along with travel partners from Bishop’s Gate, City Hotel and Walled City Brewery to take part in an event hosted by Tourism Ireland.
Guests included leading New York travel and lifestyle journalists, as well as tour operators and meeting planners, who learned all about the unique and authentic cultural experience that Derry offers to American visitors.
Coinciding with a stop in New York during the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, the event was also a great opportunity to celebrate the Foyle Nautical Festival, which returns next month and welcomes the Clipper Race to the banks of the Foyle.
