Sandra Oh admits fame made her ‘really sick’ | Entertainment

Sandra Oh’s “Grey’s Anatomy” fame made her “very, very sick.”

The 50-year-old actress starred in the medical drama as Dr. Cristina Yang for ten seasons, and Sandra admits that fame has taken its toll on her health.

She shared, “When Grey’s Anatomy came out, my life changed a lot. And it’s hard to imagine, because it was almost 20 years ago, so the context is completely different, but the stress is the same or the confusion is the same. .”

Sandra joined the show in 2005 and remembered how it changed her life.

She told Variety: “I think my whole body was very, very sick.

“Even though you keep working, right? It’s like, “Oh, I can’t sleep. Oh, my back hurts. I don’t know what’s wrong with my skin.” I realized that first of all you need to take care of your health.

“But it’s not just your body, right? This is your soul. This is definitely your mind. Do you understand what I mean? Because you cannot be completely dependent on anyone else.

Sandra believes that her job is actually much more demanding than some people think.

She said, “Our job is not just shooting; this is a very pleasant part of our work. We sit and chat, but it’s a full day’s work. And it’s a certain type of product that can be debilitating.”

“And now, the deeper I get into my career, the more time I have to spend with my creative self: it might be a dream, it might be a walk in the woods, it might be meditation, it might be actually walking in class, it could be all of these things.”
