Virtuoso, the leading global luxury and experiential travel chain, is hosting its first-ever Travel Technology Summit on August 14 at the ARIA Resort & Casino from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm as part of the Virtuoso Travel Week event.

The Summit will have three separate components: A Multi-Speaker Big Ideas Session on Technology Strategies that Drive the Industry Forward; a group of venture capitalists focused on innovation and long-term opportunities that investors are looking for and funding; and the Startup Showcase featuring companies that are tackling the challenges the travel industry is currently facing. The summit will start with a broad, macro view and go through phases that will eventually narrow down to the grassroots level. This introductory presentation will feature four Big Ideas speakers who will delve into each category. Then a group of venture capitalists will give their opinion as investors. Finally, the Startup Showcase will feature five new companies that are developing solutions to solve the challenges of the travel industry and showcase real applications.
